I’m Back

I have not posted in…well since I can remember. I’ve let my writing go by the wayside but have in recent days been convicted that God gave me a story and He wants me to share it, if for no other reason than so the ones I leave behind someday will hear my story in the way that I intend it to be told. A wise woman told me a while back “Write things down for the next generation.” I’ve been doing that in journals but I think it’s time to share on broader scale again.

A lot has changed in my life since my last post. I’ve been through several years of physical illness that only recently I am finally coming back from and am able to live more fully and normally again. It’s not something I’ve shared with many people and don’t really feel the need to share details of. But the one thing I will share is that I have become very appreciative of the ability to do every day normal things like other people pain free. God is faithful and I am grateful that He is the Great Physician.

Both of my children are now married with children. My beautiful daughter Danielle has two adorable twin daughters. They are miracle babies and that’s a story I’ll share at a future date. My son is walking out his calling as a pastor. He is now a youth pastor at a wonderful church and just weeks ago had a beautiful baby girl. And I am loving the Nonna life.

I have been through the hardest trials of my life since my last post, the greatest disappointments and hurts, but also experienced the greatest joys and the most freedom I have ever experienced. In posts to come I will share some of both the sorrows and joys. So stay tuned to future posts for the continuing story of what God has been up to in the life of this daughter of the King.

  1. Thank you for taking the time to read and to comment. I do believe we all have a story intended for a purpose. I know the things we go through are enver in vain and God intends to use them for His glory. God Bless You!
